QIRT (Quality In Real Time) and HealthWorks Consulting Launch Strategic Partnership
The two home health care consulting companies aim to further support the home health care and hospice agencies with compliance expertise and education.
FLORAL PARK, N.Y. – Sept. 15, 2015 – PRLog — QIRT and HealthWorks Consulting, Inc. announced today the formation of a strategic partnership in a move intended to aid home health agencies reach their goals of compliance and integrated education. QIRT and HealthWorks both operate on the premise that good regulatory and quality compliance is achievable and that educating staff expands knowledge and understanding to the betterment of a given agency. The companies’ collaboration plan will have dual benefits for the industry. The partnership will work to provide education much needed for agency compliance. In addition, QIRT is working closely with HealthWorks as they launch their new nurse staffing service.
QIRT’s Clinical division staff has spent 30+ years in the field of compliance & consulting with Home Care and Hospice agencies, and over time CEO Laura Page-Greifinger has identified the need for in-service education provided by professionals outside of the agencies themselves. Over-taxed department heads devote valuable time and resources in providing education for their staff in order to remain compliant with regulations, often at the expense of spending time on patient care. HealthWorks’ orientation and in-service offerings are the type of education QIRT Clinical staff found lacking in many agencies. With utilization of organizations such as HealthWorks for staff education, QIRT staff has confidence that agencies will become more compliant and benefit from staff with additional critical thinking abilities to help them make decisions in the field, thereby doing “the right thing the right way” and becoming a preferred provider agency in the new health care reform. In addition, the nursing staffing company will have education backup that will make their nurses “the best of the best” in providing visits in the home.
HealthWorks Consulting was created by CEO Ezequiel Rocha, whose expertise in the complexities of the home care setting has helped agencies build on current knowledge and extend on current practice to meet existing and emerging health, safety, educational and financial needs of home care organizations. HWC provides home care agencies with tools and expertise to overcome the challenges of running a successful home care business. Registered professionals, who are cultural experts, provide educational services and integrate the use of technology, visual, and auditory methods to make every in-service count towards providing quality care to the community.
Page-Greifinger spoke favorably about the partnership: “I have worked with Ezequiel Rocha for a number of years and find him to be an excellent mentor and responsive to the needs of the home care and hospice community. He is committed to finding people and workflow processes that create best practice.”
Ezequiel Rocha is also positive: “The healthcare setting turns into a more complex environment by the minute. It takes an alliance between people to maintain what is working, and to know the right people who understand what to implement in this ever-changing system. Laura Page-Greifinger is an example of expertise, a mentor, and a home care guru. Through this innovative partnership, we are helping agencies build a strong support for their companies.”
